Shopian, Aug 25 (KNO): Security forces on Tuesday arrested three persons during a naka-checking operation in South Kashmir’s Shopian district and recovered two hand grenades and five posters allegedly bearing Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) markings.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the trio was apprehended along with a motorcycle during the naka-checking operation.
He identified them as Junaid Ahmad Dar, Amir Yousif and Junaid Muzaffer, all residents of Kulgam.
The recovered material has been taken into custody, while further investigation is underway, he added.—(KNO)
